Mediation: Information for Organizations

Creating a safe, productive space for your people

The scenario

Workplace tension rarely dissolves on its own. Left unchecked, it spreads. It infects team morale, stalls productivity and drives your best people out the door. You have tried the informal chats and the stern reminders to “play nice.” When those efforts fall short, you need a solution that restores order without sacrificing relationships.

How we work
Taite provides that solution. We are the go-to conflict mediation service for employers who understand that unresolved disputes can be their biggest hidden cost. Our role is simple: we step in as completely impartial outsiders, giving your people the confidential space they need to untangle their issues and find a way forward.

Why leading

organisations choose Taite

Bringing in an external mediator is a sign of strong leadership. It shows you prioritise a healthy culture over sweeping problems under the rug.

Mitigate organisational risk

Interpersonal conflict that festers often escalates into formal grievances, workers’ compensation claims, or even litigation. Early intervention by our conflict mediation specialists halts escalation before it leads to expensive legal fights or reputational damage.

Empower your employees to speak up

Many staff suffer in silence because they fear retaliation or feel nothing will change. Our guaranteed confidentiality removes that barrier. We give them a safe avenue to voice concerns. This way, small issues get aired before they become big blow-ups.

Protect your leaders’ time

Managers and HR personnel spend countless hours playing referee. By engaging Taite, you free your leadership to focus on strategic goals, safe in the knowledge that the conflict is being handled by accredited professionals.

Strengthen your culture from within

When teams see that problems get resolved fairly and respectfully, trust in leadership grows. This builds psychological safety, which directly fuels engagement and resilience.

What working with Taite looks like

Workplace mediation provides a structured and confidential way for people to address difficult issues and find a constructive way forward.

A clear, structured and confidential process that helps organisations address workplace conflict constructively.

1

Initial
conversation

Start by getting in touch by phone, email, LinkedIn or via the website enquiry form. We have a short conversation about the situation to see whether mediation may be helpful. After this call, you will receive a short email outlining the process, pricing and availability so you can make an informed decision.

2

Pre-mediation meetings

If you decide to proceed, Tania will meet privately with each participant for a confidential two-hour pre-mediation session. In these meetings we talk about what has happened, how the situation is affecting them, and what they hope to achieve from mediation. These conversations also allow her to assess whether mediation is likely to be helpful, and if she forms the view that it isn’t the right process in a particular situation, she will let you know.

3

Mediation

If mediation proceeds, participants come together for a facilitated mediation session (typically a full day). Tania guides a full and frank conversation that gets beneath the surface and to the heart of what the situation is really about. Once that’s been properly explored, participants are usually ready to make practical decisions about how they want to proceed into the future—for themselves, their team, and the organisation.

4

After
mediation

You will be advised whether the participants engaged with the process and whether any decisions were reached. With their consent, you may also receive a copy of the actions they have agreed to, set out at the level of “who / what / where / when / how.”

Beyond this, the content of the mediation conversations remains confidential. This allows participants to speak openly and address the issues thoroughly, rather than feeling the need to offer a sanitised version of events out of concern that what they say might be reported back to their employer.

Confidentiality is essential to creating the trust needed for open and constructive conversations.
